Epic Strings into Dance Tracks..........your tunes?

I am looking for help with finding dance tracks which include epic orchestral string sections -

For reference think Rob Dougan, Unkle and currently the inspired Giorgio Moroder track on Daft Punk's Random Access Memory - 5 minutes into the track........

I love this sound - anyone got any albums / artists I should aim for?

Funnily enough I was listening to techno classic Rolando's Jaguar earlier today.

Jeff Mill's Blue Potenial - live orchestral rendition (plus Mills on the 909s) of his tunes. The Bells is awesome.

You'll be wanting Hybrid - lots of it; try their debut 'wide angle' for starters. It's not trance as such but may be what you're looking for

I was just thinking... techno mainly uses synth strings rather than orchestral.

Speaking of which I love Prodigy's Death Of The Prodigy Dancer as it got me into Detroit Techno.

You'd be surprised how much music, not just Techno, uses synth strings. VSTis have got to the stage that you put it on a channel with an effect, something like PSP Vintage Warmer, and once it's overlaid you'd struggle to distinguish it from a recorded performance, in fact many of them use extensive sample libraries which are just that.

I was actually wondering if OP wanted live orchestral production rather than synths.

Adagio for strings is probably the seminal strings track. The tiesto version is most well known.

There are quite a few songs which make good use of strings although Im struggling to think of many at the moment!
