I quite liked a couple of his tunes, a nod to Northern Soul made me smile.

I didnt see him on Jools Holland, thats a bit of a dissapointment.

I think his songs could be quite good if he didn't sing out of the side of his face all the time. It sounds to me like his voice is so 'put on' and coming out of his nose rather than his mouth. Why can't people sing naturally anymore? That Maverick Sabre twunt is the same

Not a bad summing up. His band sounds great, I love the strings & brass and the nod towards Northern Soul.

The vocal doesn't bother me too much to be honest.

He sings better than I do.

Went to an ellie goulding concert mainly because he was the support, to each their own but I certainly thought he could sing live.

The way he had the crowd is something i have never seen before by a support act stayed on for nearly a full hour and completely had the full stadium crowd.
