I noticed GWAR in a Kerrang mag about 10 years ago. Yeah, another bunch of nutters in wierd suits I thought and instantly dismissed them.

Then I heard this 2 weeks ago and suddenly it all made sense,

Yeah, it's real pisstake music but having listened to most of their back catalogue since, these guys really put the 'shock' back into shock rock!

Perverted lyrics aside, they're a real good band!

Awesome live band - saw them back in the day. If you were down at the front, you'd come away soaked from head to foot in all sorts of gunge - very theatrical, but with heavy riffs too.

Saw them way back in the early '90s, not the most intellectual music, but the stage show was a proper laugh riot.
