Anyone else on here a fan of this lot?
The O/H and I went on our first date to see them years ago at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh. Seen them again since then and just bought tickets for Dundee in Feb - genuinely cannot wait !!
Listening just now to some of their stuff - some great old songs. Gravity and All you Good Good people are probably my favs.

I wasn't aware that Embrace were back. I've always had a bit of a love/hate feel about them. My problem with them is the singer. They have great, soaraway anthem type songs, but his voice is just so weak that it just never quite works. I seem to remember seeing them on a live tv show (might have been Later) and the guitarist quite often took over the vocals in the chorus.

Agree with that - has a good voice for the balled's - think I have a soft spot for them because of the first date thing. But genuinely enjoyed it both times we've went to see them. Like you I thought they were long gone.....guess they must be skint !!I used to love Embrace. Agree that the singer is better suited to certain songs, but they had some amazing songs particularly Fireworks on their first album. Their B-sides were particularly good to. Plus the cover version of Eminem's "how come" which was particularly good.
Saw them at Brixton back in 1998 and was an excellent gig
