iTunes / Internet radio

Anyone bother listening to the radio through either of the above methods?

We've been looking through the iTunes stations to find something to keep the entire office happy. When we move offices soon, there's a hi fi system plumbed in with ceiling speakers.

I favour planet rock but not everyone can take that all day.

Stumbled across KROB in the 70's Retro section on iTunes radio and had no complaints after a week.

Any other suggestions for something off the beaten track?

I've only ever listened to Badlands, but then I'm just a country boy at heart.

Office radio is as fraught with difficulty as aircon in my experience.

Wonderfully eclectic.

I listen to a Russian station quite a lot. It's 320 kbps so higher quality than most. It plays quite a lot of oldies plus some more recent stuff. Virtually no talk whatsoever and no adverts.

This is about the only other station that can be classed as acceptable to all parties….so far.

I like listening to the German station housetime.fm though I'd not inflict it on a mixed office environment. They do stream through their webpage, but I use Winamp to deliver it at home.
