Recommend a guitar multi-fx unit

My Korg AX300G has gone to the great pedalboard in the sky and I'm pretty out of touch with current FX technology.

I want to spend no more than £150(ish) and my musical tastes are Rush, Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Radiohead.

What is the best value out there?

Vox Tonelab or a 2nd hand Boss GT100 would hit the spot. 2nd hand because they're about £300 new.

The trouble with multi fx is they usually have some kind of draw back designed in - tonelabs don't or at least didn't have silent tuners so they're a pain on stage & the sheer number of patches & parameters gives rise to itchy fingers. Can't leave things alone.

The tuner on my Tonelab can be used in 'muted mode' and the board is pretty good, if a little large as it is about the same size as a 2 octave keyboard!!!! The e type of pedal boards!!!! great for stadiums but not so good for the 3 foot square stage at one end of a pub!!! Perfect for the un assuming ego-less average lead guitarist!!!!!!

I use a Boss ME-70, which I like because it can be used as 4 individually switchable effects (Comp, Dist/OD, Modulation & Delay) in addition to the usual mode (banks of predefined patches). Silent tuner too. New ones seem to be about £200 these days, but you mights be able to pick one up 2nd-hand within budget.
