It'll be 'absolutely marvelous' apparently.

If that one doesn't grab you you could get their 'Cheery Red Stratocaster'.

I'd buy 2nd hand in preference.

You could pick up a 2nd hand LTD version on Ebay for less money and it would probably be a better guitar.

Hmm cheap Chinese shiloutte guitar with decal set to make it look like the real deal - absolutely terrible.

I can only imagine how comically bad a Chinese copy Floyd-Rose would be, I have enough trouble with them as is :hehe

As said, buy a second hand ESP LTD (sort of Les Paul style). I have one and it is a truly superb thing on a par with Epiphone for quality - but only cost £190 new as well.

That thing that really makes me laugh out loud about that chinese copy is the reversed version of "random chinese characters to look cool" usually applied to clothes over here hehe

It would make a lovely ornament though smash

I agree with the comments on the LTD stuff. Had quite a few and I couldn't fault any of them, especially the higher end stuff, 400-1000 range.

I know someone who bought a 250 quid Gretsch 6120 copy from China and it's actually surprisingly good. Pot luck I suppose.

Some of the Taiwanese copies are excellent and the Chinese copies are improving. Most of the big guitar companies run their lower ranges from Taiwanese and Chinese suppliers Fender being a good example. The worst guitars I have ever seen were made in India they were just unplayable. You will be aware of the credit card protection if it is unplayable back will come your money. I personally play solid wood steel string acoustics now but still jam in the Brum shops and there are a lot of these copies about and very good the ones I see are. Up to you.
