I saw him at the O2 a few years back, quite easily the best gig I've been to.

I agree, those O2 gigs were just incredible!
He seems to just be doing random shows at the moment. How are people finding out about them and getting hold of tickets?

I saw him on the Lovesexy tour many years ago, one of the best gigs I've ever been at.

Great bit in the middle where it was just him and his Fender Telecaster..

This was at the 2000ish capacity Academy in Manchester. I'm struggling to remember a better gig and I wouldn't have called myself a big fan beforehand.

Setlist here.

Saw him at Wembley in about 1989 (?)

I really didn't want to go, but was reluctantly dragged along. He was astoundingly good. Great showman. Would like to see him again with a modern set.

Our Granddaughter managed to see him at Ronnie Scotts last week, said he was fantastic. I got to hear him give a secret gig in a warehouse in Kings Cross many years ago, he did sound excellent.

That's the eleventh time I've seen him (since I was a teenager) and he was better than ever.

I came away from the O2 in 2007 disappointed and was sceptical about seeing him again as he's 57 now and wanted to remember him in his heyday, but my God he is back with a bang. musiccool

First time for me. I'm a fan as long as he keeps those women with him.

Prince is just the ultimate for me. Been a big fan for 30 years and seen him 19 times...
the most talented musician on the planet.
however , this visit to the uk has been a tour for the uk media and minor celebs and records company bods.
as a result this has p*ssed of most of his hard core fans
.
the fans want the smaller venues , but ticketed sales.
his fans have lives and kids etc!

apart from the fans who have no commitments and are willing to wait in the rain for 6 hours to maybe see him at a small venue
so i have not seen him this time which nags me...
