The complete antithesis to Justin Bieber?

I was introduced to the music of Hunter Hayes a few months ago, and the more I listen to his stuff, and see how he behaves on and off stage, the more I'm convinced the musical world has found the perfect anithesis to the annoying Canadian brat!

Hayes was also a child star - but he hasnt gone off the rails, always seems to act mature and thoughtful, is extremely talented, comes across as polite, educated and well spoken, and is hopefully destined for a long and successful career. Oh, and his music isnt generic sugar-coated teen pop crap!

What do the PH collective think?

The problem is that for every Hunter Hayes (or justin timberlake for that matter) you've got a Michael Jackson, Justin Beiber, Miley Cyrus, Amanda Baynes etc.

Whilst the others have turned to drink/drugs/famehungry MJ had his own insecurities caused by fame and seemingly wasn't able to cope with it in a rational manor, hence the close relationships with children, the dangling of babies over balconies and the transformation into a living voldemort.

I see now yours was more specific to losing the plot. not the 'generic sugar coated pop' fair enough, I would agree in that instance.

Bieber can sing and play instruments. Just because he's a huge douche, doesn't make him without merit. Just because you put black eyeliner and leather on and scream about zombies and murdering goats also doesn't make you a musician.
