Anyone been to GrillStock?

Thinking of going to the Bristol one in May but will have a 9 month old in tow and not sure what the set up is like? We'd be staying about 15 minutes walk away and won't be spending all the time there (boooo), but if anyone's been before, it'd be good to know if it's all fights and nobheads inside.

Love Hayseed Dixie! Ace Of Spades cover is by far my favourite!! Think the Bristol event is a bit more realistic for me though unfortunately, I'm hoping to be in Newquay on holiday the week before so planning to just pop 'up the road' on the way back to Southampton!
I've been to Bristol a few times and, on the whole, it seems to be a really nice place. The riverside development thing (can't remember what it's called) was really nice, so I guess that if GrillStock is full of pissheads and punchups, we'll still be in a good place!

I went last year.
Good things:
- Relaxed atmosphere, no nob-heads that we saw, lots of families around and IIRC there was plenty of security.
- Food there is delicious.
- Wide array of exhibitors for all things BBQ / smoking.
- Entertaining music and events on the stage. There was an amusing chili eating competition.
- Lots of toilet facilities.
Bad things:
- It's BUSY (to be expected I suppose).
- Not much cover aside from the beer tents when (not 'if' in Bristol
) it rains.
- Queues for food are stupid. 30 minutes or more. The one we went to ran out of food about 3 people after us.
- Food is also expensive. We paid £6 I think for a pulled pork roll.
I was a nice experience but it felt a little too much like a trade show and money extraction exercise as opposed to a proper festival atmosphere. All of the above said, I think I'd go again.
