I've never knowingly listened to Glen Campbell till today, but I ended up landing on a YouTube of his live in Sioux Falls concert. Really really good, I will listen more. Sad link

Was a great guitarist and session player too for many artists.

Even from my childhood I had a liking for Glen Campbell.

I guess I liked the stories in his songs and his ability to deliver the emotion of a song.

I put a greatest hits album of his on a few days ago and was reminded of this.

Not my general style of music, but he was a great.

I saw him live on one of his last tours . 'Wichita Lineman ' is one of the most perfect songs ever written and I will confess to 'having something in my eye' as he sang it. As did my wife and , I suspect , everybody else who was there. Utterly spine tingling .
