And a number of hits with other songwriters. Carol King became a legend with her remarkable success Tapestry was a truly exceptional album. Both very great songwriters and individuals. Goffin certainly proved his ability on a number of songs. They do not make them like that anymore!

I watched a BBC documentary about Carole King only last week (my OH is a big fan of the Tapestry album). We were both continually saying how we didn't know that her and Gerry had so many written various songs. Since hearing of his death I've realised that Gerry wrote even more songs that I'm familiar in other collaborations. He has left a fantastic legacy of music, RIP Gerry.
