Buying tickets before the release date "The Who"

For the second time now i have been able to buy tickets on line from the ticketfactory website before the official release date.

A few months ago my daughter was desperate to get some tickets to see Drake in Birmingham and believed it would be a sell out (can't see the attraction myself!) so i logged onto the Ticketfactory website and was surprised to be able to buy tickets online a couple of days before the release date and just presumed it was a fluke.

Fast forward to yesterday the day before The Who tickets go on sale and yes i was again able to buy tickets on the same website even choosing the seat number the day before the release date.

I could have bought up to 6 tickets and guessing this would be a sell out easily sold them on for a profit but my conscience told me not to be greedy so just got one for me and the wife.

Why can tickets be bought before the release date and as my tickets for The Who were half way back i guess a lot of others had already got in before me as well.

I got tickets for the Who in Birmingham yesterday because I'm registered to their mailing list so got in on the presale. Don't know how you got them.

Just feel a little sorry for the fans who tried from 9am being the official on sale date/time when they were already available.


Seems a bit of a lousy business practice by the ticketfactory,
