Hi All,

I am looking for a practice aid so I can jam along to some songs that I am learning at the moment. I was just wondering if anyone had experience of the Boss eBand JS-10? As an alternative I was also looking at getting an iPad air and using Garage Band along with an iRig. Does anyone have experience with either setup just to help me make up my mind!

Cheers

I've got an Apogee Jam for my iPod, and it converts fairly well but it's easy to overload it into clipping if you've got humbuckers on your guitar.

Looks like there are a few options connecting the guitar to an iPad . I have been looking at the
iRig HD as well, I was just concerned about the sound quality. I may wait a few months incase a new IPad Air comes out unless I spot a Boss jS-10 going cheap on EBay.

Cheers, that looks pretty good actually. I can isolate certain sections of the track which is what I am looking for. I will use the trial for a month and see how I get on.
