I was only vaguely aware of them first time round, but it strikes me that for a bunch of middle-aged blokes they're sounding fresh and with some new tunes instead of trotting out stuff from their past.

Yep, they're still nicely under the radar to the masses, but their latest stuff sounds great!

I didn't want to say anything, but I think the latest album is one of their best. Absolutely brilliant.

My wife doesn't agree, but she's a huge Kim Deal fan...

Not great at T In The Park though. Really, really disappointed - I had really high hopes and they just didn't deliver.

Not as painfully introspective as Paul Weller, who hit new lows in terms of audience interaction (spot on Paul, stick the piano behind some amps so none of us can see you, and don't bother actually talking to us), but still a 'meh' performance.
