Recommend me some new music?

An off-the-cuff comment from my OH the other day made me realise that the music I listen to hasn't realy changed much over the last few years, and I think she has a point. I don't really listen to the radio, nor do I have Spotify or anything so while I keep up with bands I know I don't often come across new bands I may like.
My current taste is probably best described by listing the artists I have on my phone at the moment:

Looking at the above, can anyone suggest some bands/artists you're enjoying you'd recommend? I'm pretty open-minded as a general rule, but anything that would play on Radio One would probably not be what I'm after

Wolf Alice.
Hyped to the nth degree (mainly by Radio 1!), they may be. But it's for a good reason.
And Veruca Salt have reformed, are currently touring and have a new album coming out next year. Check out their older stuff in the meantime.

Band of Skulls my thing, big time. Seen them about 6/7 times now.
A lot of the stuff you listed is also in my collection, so I say, try these :

Not saying you'll like them, but maybe try the Queens Of The Stone Age, (qotsa) or some of the Red Hot Chili Peppers stuff.

With the Chilis i'm biased but appreciate they are not everyones cup of tea, i'd say try an early album like, "blood, sugar, sex, magik" or a later one like, "by the way."
or for something really different that someone recomended to me, and i was hooked on the first listen why not try an album by a band called The Twang, the album is, "love it when i feel like this." Don't know why, but i think its genius.

A few I've heard of in order of appearance...
All others I either haven't heard of, or have heard of but don't really know anything about. Got a few bits downloading though so I'll let you know how I get on

- Jeff Beck - I've got a few pieces of his which I like, but never really set the world alight for me tbh.
- Slash - good shout, I have his last album and I think there's a new one out? I'll check that out
- Velvet Revolver - Really liked Contraband at the time but for some reason I don;t seem to listen to it anymore. Hmm.
- QOTSA - Songs for the Deaf is a great album actually, I'd forgotten that one!
- Chilli Peppers - like many bands, there tends to be a couple of songs on an album I like, but in general I'm pretty unfussed.
All others I either haven't heard of, or have heard of but don't really know anything about. Got a few bits downloading though so I'll let you know how I get on

Instead of asking people directly, why don't you find a way to get automatic recommendations?
There's loads of options like Last.fm etc. For a long time I used Amazon - find your favourite records, click the 'I own it' box (and rate it accordingly) and then once you've done that a few times it'll start to recommend lots of similar things. You can then rinse & repeat the process.
