Recommend me a keyboard

My Mrs is a keen pianist and plays to a decent level. Well, she did until she moved to London where we have no room for a piano. Everytime she goes to her parents house she tinkers around on their piano, stops being quite as rusty, and comes away wishing we had one.
As much as I'd like to have one, a real piano is out of the question - we just dont have the room.
Is there an electronic keyboard out there which mimics the size and feel of a proper piano keyboard? I'm sure there is, but is there one for the sensible side of £500? This would be a Christmas present, so I cant really get her to a music shop to try them out.
I think she'd like one with its own speakers, although we do have a mac which it would be nice to be able to plug it into, although this would be pretty secondary. We've a large desk which I thought it could sit on when she's using it, and be packed away at other times, so I dont think we want one of the 'electic organ' type things.
Any ideas?
