Keyboard want...I think

Saw a band last week who had a keyboard player who had a piece of kit that sounded exactly (to me) like a Hammond B3. Took a sneaky look and it appears to have been a Nord Electro, though not sure which model.
Not being an experienced keyboard player, can anyone say if this is a decent piece of gear, or offer any alternatives? Fancy a present to myself to learn on, and loved the 'old skool' sound of this.

It's a Nord Stage.
I have a Stage 72, the keys are unweighted so you can bounce off them like on a hammond.
One half is a Hammond with virtual drawbars.
the other half is keyboard based you have a clav, piano, electric piano, 2xrhodes and a wurlitzer.
You also get a bank of modulation effects (Tremelo, wah, ring mod etc)
A dedicated separate rotary speaker effect with 2 speeds and an overdrive adjustment.
The Hammond is great esp with the lesile, Rhodes sits really well in the mix, Clav is good with the Wah the pianos are pretty average

The Stage 2 is the better all-rounder, with splits and layers possible, with piano and synth. The Hammond (and Vox and Farfisa) emulations are really very good. (The Electro organs are still good.) Both can be loaded up with piano and synth sounds from the Nord libraries and any sample of your choosing (starting as a wav file).

It was a Nord Electro 4. I bought one online the day after I put the original post up. Was supposed to be an ex-demo for £1100 (around £300 off). Placed the order online, and 5 minutes later I had a call to say that the ex-demo had been sold, but they'd do me a brand spankers one for the same price.
The B3 emulation is absolutely spot on. Just need to learn how to play now. This joins the Korg Radiuss I bought a few years ago, and the set of drums, on the list of things I need to get to grips with... :
