How do folks insure their gear?

In the past when I have just been playing at home and the instruments were all quite low value I've just made sure that the home cover would suffice. In the last year however I've invested a bit in gear both for me and the band and think I should probably make sure it is properly covered. So that in the event of it all getting nicked from the pub after a gig we get some cash back.

Any thoughts?

Keep an eye on your gear? Mines on the household insurance, with accidental damage cover, and when it's in a venue we make sure one of us or the significant others has an eye to it.

Yes that is sort of where we are currently.
