I keep hearing about how vinyl is making a come back and selling more than CD's etc, however i can't seem to find anywhere that sells it, finding vinyl LP's is easy enough but i can't find singles, does anybody even bother making them anymore? I've DJ'd (though more infrequently) since the late 90's and have over time nearly all the record shops i used to go to (even HMV had a great vinyl section) have closed down and the online sites now sell MP3's or old vinyl, with only Juno doing some of the newer stuff

any recommendations on where i should be looking?

Cheers

Mostly albums that have had the vinyl resurgence though I'm sure there are still many DJs out there (not the wedding disco ones) that play 12" vinyl. For that you'd be looking towards whatever specialists record dealers are around.

Most of the records I buy tend to be 7's ... You'll find them in indie stores or look online.

Places like Juno or Jazzman are good bets. Also the 2nd market is really where its at (as far as I'm concerned)

Discogs. Although I don't buy music made after 1996 so not sure how good it is for new releases, especially if they're limited presses.
