How many times have you watched your favorite band/artists.
Discussion
Off the back of the, "How many bands have you seen?" topic, it got me thinking.
I'm impressed by some of the numbers on the band topic, so who out there has seen their favorite artist/band the most amount of times and how many? I've seen mine lots but it would be cheating really as i have worked on a few of their tours so i was just very lucky.
I remember working on 1 bands tour in 2006 and 1 girl fan turned up at every single gig we did on the european leg of the bands tour. She was dead keen, but it must of cost her a fortune in tickets, travel, hotels etc.
Over to you lot.

Evil Scarecrow. Seen them 19 times so far and racked up nearly 4,000 miles! (3 more gigs at the end of November and 1 in January already booked). They are just so good to watch live as every show is different and delightfully bonkers and the stage show just gets better and better.
Got to know them really well after the first half dozen gigs and they really are the most welcoming people I've met.
The last 6-7 gigs were as crew - I'm now Monty's drum tech, so get to see the madness up close. If they play anywhere within a couple of hours then I am on the crew, I rarely get paid for it besides free ticket and I've probably

I've seen WASP about six or seven times and have tickets to seem them later this month. Not my favourite band, but usually see them when they're on tour although these days it's usually the missus that tells me she's just bought tickets. I see them probably about once every couple of years, with most shows being almost the same as the previous. Still, a good night and good to see Blackie still rocking it.
I've seen The Stranglers something over thirty times, maybe nearly forty - one of these days I must get around to totalling it up properly. That's nothing though, there are plenty of Stranglers fans that will do maybe ten gigs per tour now, one chap was namechecked at the Manchester gig a couple of years ago for doing every gig on the tour (around 22 gigs, I think).
The Cure, 11 times
Kraftwerk, 5 times
Seen countless others 3 or 4 times but the above are my most numerous ones, looking forward to the next time I get to see them as well. Never get bored of their performances and I haven't seen The Cure do remotely the same set.
Mrs Wal thinks I'm mad seeing a band more than once but you never know when they are going to wheel out that obscure classic not played in 20 years is my answer.

Iron Maiden twice but I will be in the UK for the Nottingham and Wolverhampton shows. So tempted to see them again (Headless Children tour).Good guess
Yes I've toured with chilis a couple of times, which is handy as I'm a massive fan! Is your brother Ian? Iirc. Josh's tech. I toured with chilis when John Frusciante was still in the band, and also when Josh replaced him.
Some cracking dedication displayed here by some loyal fans, top work.
I've seen chili peppers over 50 times, but the job makes my numbers a cheat really.
