Guitar for learner

Ok.. a few years a go I set my self a New Years Resolution to learn to play guitar, never got round to it..... BUT it's been playing on my mind

so what is a good starter guitar, something not naff to be sneered at, but something suitable and something affordable if it does not become a "love affair"... acoustic

interesting that all 3 of you plump for the same...... if left to my own devices I would of gone for a Fender CD60, just cos of the Fender name.......

nah ... start with some simple acoustic stuff n see if I am tone deaf or not.....

If you've not made that beer fuelled decision yet, of course the best response is for you to get down to your local music shop and check a few different guitars out. See which one feels the most comfortable etc.

I did that many years ago and came out with, lo and behold, a Yamaha F310, which still does me fine. I perhaps had the advantage of being able to play a bit having borrowed guitars previously but a decent music shop should welcome a new customer.
