Favourite music memorabilia
Discussion
Carrying on from someone asking where to sell their music memorabilia I wonder what other forum members cherish the most in their collection.
I have a few acetates of my favourite performer Judie Tzuke but I reckon this jacket I got in the late 80s from my then employers tops the list of my favourites.

I have to agree really. Hillel and John.
I take my hat off to Josh though he is a fantastic guitarist and a decent bloke too.
I was just one of the truck drivers on some of their tours. Dream job for me being such a big fan. I deliberately kept a low profile on the first tour I did for them I was just happy to be there. Word got around, and at the end of that tour I was told to go and collect some gear from the dressing room for the sound engineer. Turns out he's been mates with the band from the start, and so set it up for Chad to be waiting there when I arrived. Hence the drumsticks, a few photos and a beer. Chatted with Chad for about 20 minutes, really lovely fella!
The Iron Maiden stuff will be worth money, especially to the right fan/collector.

I used to have both parts of a broken drumstick that Geezer Butler used. My mum found it, wondered why on earth I had a broken drumstick and threw it away.
That's rather intriguing as Geezer is very well known for his bass playing and song writing, not so much for drumming? In 1987 there was a documentary on TV about the making of Sgt Pepper.
a couple of days later a short bearded man walked into my shop. I said "you're Peter Blake, you designed the cover of Sgt Pepper, you were on Tv a couple of days ago." He didn't seem all that impressed but when I said "you also did the cover of Face Dances by the Who" he became more animated.
We discussed the Who for a bit and he said Pete was a good mate of his. A couple of days later he came back to collect his item and he brought in a copy of the cover printed on very high quality paper and he'd signed it for me. His signature is supposed to be pretty rare.
He still comes in 28 years later and we always chat about the Who. That piece of paper is about the only rare thing I own and when they were young my kids always knew that if the house caught fire they should congregate under where it hung on the wall because they knew that would be the first thing I would rescue!
