Music/bands you cant listen to any more
Discussion
Recently went to a funeral of a work colleagues a few days ago. The 3 music tracks that played have now made it into my category of music i cant listen to anymore. Just wandered if anyone else has a selection of artists that for whatever reason cant stand or bear to listen to ever again.
Heres a few of mine so far.
Jess glynne - take me home
Ellie goulding - how long will i love you
Calivin harris - feel so close to you right now
Anything by lost prophets. Since ian was outed for being an uber peado i cant even manage to listen to a bar without switching it off. Bit of a shame really as i thought they were an awesome band.

Lots of bands I can't listen to, but for no reason other than I plain don't like their music.
That said, there's a track on the Ray of Light album by Madonna (I'm not a fan generally, but I really like that album) called Mer Girl and I reckon about 50% of the time I hear it I feel the need to skip it.
It's not that I don't like the track, but it often stirs something inside me that makes me feel incredibly sad and very unsettled and I want the feeling to stop.
Very odd sensation and the only track I can think of that makes me feel that way.

From when I was about 15/16 until I was 23/24 I pretty much exclusively listened to 'hardcore' dance music and scoffed at music with guitars in, but now (34) I can't stand more than 2 songs until I get bored of it and switch to something with guitars in, including the music I used to look down on.

Same here, but up to Diamond and Pearls. Anything after that I just never got into and can't listen to. Shame because the early stuff is just superb music.
