I tend to agree on the basis that he was absolute brilliant in the early to mid 70s but going by what I've seen on youtube of his shows in the Soviet Union and Central Pk in 1980 his voice was already starting to wane then.
Perhaps should start a new thread on the performers who were good once but now sound terrible.
