What is the worst song you have ever heard?
Discussion
Anything by Black Stone Cherry - a mock Southern hard rock group with a number of albums containing one song. Or twelve songs exactly the same. You can tick off a long list of every rock cliche phrase in any one of their songs. For instance their latest single contains the first two verses:
She's some kind of angel, or so they say
She'll take a rich man and make him a slave
Born on the bayou, raised by the sand
She's my Medusa, I'm stone where I stand
I'm stone where I stand
Shakin' my cage, black dog howlin'
She likes it rolling in the moonlight, got the wolf growlin'
She charms the snakes, she's hypnotizing
She's got me running from the daylight, bad moon rising
Shakin' my cage

king hell, where to begin. It must surely be something by some trash artist like Bob Dylan or Beyoncé. I'm not sure what it would be though.
November Rain by GNR is an absolute turd though, as is Sweet Child 'O Mine (which is a suspciously Savile name for a song). They're both ghastly tunes I'd happily never hear again.

There's not enough bandwidth on the Internet...
Dexy's Midnight Runners - Come On Eileen. At least it gives me a chance to go to the loo at weddings.
Robbie Williams - I'm spoilt for choice here; Millennium, Rock DJ, etc., ad nauseum, but I'll settle for Angels.
Led Zeppelin - D'Yer Mak'er; Zepp are one of my favourite bands, but I cannot excuse this heap of effluent. See also 'Hot Dog'.
Beyonce - can't actually name anything by her to be honest (Put A Ring On it? Put A Sock In It more like) but trust me, it's all s
te.
Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is My Aednoids Removed
Whitney Houston - Aye-eh-hi-eh-hi Will Always Love You-hooooooooooeeeeeoooooeoeoeeooeo or whatever the f
k it's called

I want to say "any Rap track", but I don't think that's the right term for it. While I didn't like it at the time, something like "White Lines" isn't so bad after a bit of time to get used to it. I'm really talking about the modern stuff where people basically just shout unintelligible nonsense across a heavy backing track. Grime? Garage? I don't know.

:-OIt's hard to pick one. There are so many awful songs and as soon as someone picks one, someone else could pop up and say so you're saying that choice is worse than x, y, z...? However, the all the single ladies on from Beyonce is pretty much up there with all that is bad in a song. When that comes on at a wedding or in a bar, I suddenly feel the need to sign up to anger management classes.

A complete affront, unutterably awful.
