Heard that the great backing vocalist has passed, another huge talent lost.

I own so many recordings that feature her voice. RIP

Unrelated, but this thread led me to Google, which led me to discover that Lonnie Mack died last April. He was one of the first blues/rock guitarists, and a "guitar hero" before the term was invented. Could sing a bit, as well.

Not familiar with Lonnie Mack but will check him out.

Me too. It's a shame that she's not better known when you see so many talentless idiots making the big time.

In the States she would be CanAm for her work mostly with James Taylor and Jackson Browne.

Two of my favourite singers so her work features strongly in my music collection. BTW an interesting typo there.
