Is there any music out there that really demonstrates the true stereo soundscape?

Modern stuff just seems a muddle of sound.

Plus apart from Jean-Michel Jarre's AERO are there any other recorded in true surround? I know there was a craze of quadraphonic a few years back but that seemed to die or that pseudo Dolby stuff.
