I've just got Thomas Dolby's book 'The Speed of Sound' and it makes very interesting reading, particularly if you're a bit of a synth geek like him.
Just found out he played the synth parts on Foreigner's 'Waiting for a Girl Like You' which I didn't know before.
He also produced Prefab Sprout's most successful albums which I think stand the test of time very well.
Fascinating chap.
