Nice mate, you have solid timing which is half the point of being a drummer so you've got that down well at the very least smile I checked out your goo goo dolls cover as well.

Glad to hear another drummer back on the skins after a brief pause smile

I like the sound of your hats, are they A Custom Mastersounds?

Good choice on the Mapex drums aswell, here's my little Mapex smile

Less is most definitely more - too many fills if you want my honest opinion.

Try finding some stuff like this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjQ5G_4vYIQ study the original, then try to recreate it hit for hit.
It will make you a better player I promise you.

Considering getting back into it myself, had a few lessons at school but thought I was rubbish so gave it up haha.

Having just seen Travis Barker live again (seen him many times) I fancy another crack at it.

Would agree with that. The timing is good, which as any musician will tell you, isn't a given with drummers but the song demands a straight pattern & the fills detract from it a fair bit. Tony McCarroll's weaknesses as a drummer actually work in his favour on that song for me.
