Who did I hear ..... ?

A few weeks ago I was listening to my radiogram and I heard a (new to me) rock type band.
I made a note of who they were, but having never seen it written down I made up the spelling.
Despite my best searching I'm drawing a blank

My note says - it's a band pronounced 'Karlaro'.

Can anybody help?
