Its a bit like across between Joe Lynn Turner era music crossed with Ronnie James Dio era vocals
And again its actually a good riff

Why has Ritchie Blackmore got more hair now than he had in 1974?

I did see a witty comment on a Elton John youtube video from about 1976 "was this before his hair started growing?"

Not New stuff but instead of starting a new topic....................................

It's 50 years ago today that the first Rainbow LP or as Ronnie James Dio would later introduce songs from it as "our first LP our very first one called Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow" was released

I remember borrowing this from someone. It was the original release laminated gatefold EMI Oyster release. When I bought it later on it was then a Polydor Oyster labelled LP (trivia)

It also means that Deep Purple's "last" LP - Come Taste The Band is approaching it's 50 year anniversary.
Obviously Purple reformed in 1984 but it looked in 1976 that they were finished.
