Last night I watched a film on Netflix about session musicians and touring band players. It was really interesting.
Liberty deVito didn't paint a very nice picture of Billy Joel and Trent Reznor is evidently a bit hard.

Due to a lawsuit from the late 2000s I'd imagine, it was apparently "settled amicably"; whatever that means in this day and age!

Reznor is a big favourite of mine, I love Nine Inch Nails. He looks like a proper knucklehead these days and has done since he turned up in 2005 with the album "With Teeth", prior to that he looks like a mess however; a drug and booze addicted mess, sad

I shall give this a watch later this evening, cheers for the heads up

It is an interesting watch, however when you see the "jam" track performances you might get the impression that the barrier for entry to being a session musician is pretty low. It's still a good watch even if you're not into generic rock music though.

It was a fairly good insight - would have loved a bit more focus on real up and comers in the industry and people starting out.

Reznor is by all accounts "interesting" to work with - He's very much so a professional and expects nothing less of the people we works with.
