Just been watching this guy play in Darlington.
Been playing 6 years, self taught, his finger dexterity, particularly on the fretboard was mesmerising.
If I could play like that after 60 years I'd be surprised.

I've just had a search on YouTube, and he's a talented lad with a decent grasp of Delta blues (especially after only 6 years).

It reminds me; I read an article in Octane magazine on holiday back in 2014 where the writer did a "Blues" road-trip from the Mississippi Delta to Chicago, and in one blues joint in the deep South the guitar player for the house band was a young lad (early teens) by the name of Christone "Kingfish" Langham.

Deeply impressive.

Much of what I've seen on youtube was rather slow, moody almost, maybe that's the video settings, "on stage" he plays some quicker stuff too.
