As someone who plays the guitar (and was for 25 years always of the blues / rock persuasion), as I get older it seems my list of guilty pleasures gets longer.

For example, tunes learned and written down in my little notebook in the last two years include:

Also one of mine this, and it's not something you can easily describe to someone who hasn't heard his 1970 LP!

I listen to a lot of soundtrack stuff when I'm driving, I have the 'Music Of ITC' compilation on in the car constantly, The Persuaders, Department S, The Saint, Jason King, Randall & Hopkirk, The Protectors etc. Then there's the KPM library music from the same period, often dismissed as downright cheesy but some of it is spectacularly good, those session players and arrangers really knew their stuff and a lot of it was recorded at Abbey Road with great production values. The first nine or ten tracks on 'The Sound Gallery' compilation of 1995 are what guilty pleasure is all about.
