Ive been getting this urge again that i "need" another guitar.....

I already have:

Fender telecaster, with SD hot rails
Ibanez RG350DX, with SD Blackouts
Epiphone LP Standard pro
Legend Fat Strat (my first guitar, bought for £10!)

I certainly prefer the Fender(Y) style guitars, as i mostly play the Tele or Ibanez.

Budget of "around" £1K
Must have super hot pickups.
Would like a Floyd Rose Trem.
Basic electronics, i.e. 1 volume and tone.
Jumbo Frets.
Look good.

As a Steel Panther fan I'm tempted to go for Satchel's Charvel, as it seems to tick all the boxes.....

Guys, anything else i should consider?

Cheers

Purely in the interests of something left field...Chapman Custom?

No Floyd (a Wilkinson, so at least a trem) but bang on budget and is Fendery...

Alternatively:

EVH Wolfgang: https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/product/17121331941...

ESP (quite 'Satchel'): https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/product/18032132464...

Ibanez JEM (also quite 90s/Panther): https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/product/18010832040...

Jackson: https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/product/17010630588...

Schecter (suitably hair metal): https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/product/18020632220...

PRS -

New, you'll find SE's of all type and S2s - if trem isn't an issue the Holcomb is a beast. Used you'll find Custom 22's.

Vigier - there's one on Guitar Guitar now for £1300 - Vigier do not make bad guitars.

Occasionally a used Caparison will pop up - sticking with Japanese, you might find an Ibanez J Custom.

Speak to Fraser guitars - not sure if he'll do a FR but worth a look? Also Warmoth and build your own.

Finally, Fender FR models! You can get some wicked Jap ones in your budget with change to spare.

Thanks guys, some god suggestions.

However I'm warming towards a Schecter C-1 with Fishman pups in Antique Fade which looks awesome and has all the right bits.
My only dislike is the offset inlay's, I'm sure i would get use to this.

Or possibly in Black fade:

Well ive gone for the Schecter, and lets just say..

Its fking awsome smile

It looks stunning (pictures does it no justice).

The quality is very good for something made in Korea!

Now the sound straight into my Marshall DSL is just amazing. The Fishman pickups are crazy!
I thought the blackouts in my Ibanez were hot, but there are seriously hot!

Its so nice and easy to play, the neck is great for fast playing.

Very happy with it smile
