Alternatives to Youtube

Hi folks


I like listening to music on my mobile phone while going out for long walks.


I had a lot of trouble using Youtube which usually cut off after I put the phone on lock.


I then downloaded Tubify which has also now stopped working.


Can anyone kindly suggest other alternatives?

NewPipe is downloadable from F-Droid and works well. Press the Background button to play audio only, then you can listen with the screen locked/off.

Spotify hands down, easily worth the money for me. Although I do feel guilty about their stty royalty payments.
