I like Nightwish. I've been listening to them for years, and I like their music from all eras, with all three singers. I also like Lacrimosa, who aren't very Finnish really, they are counted as German, but Anne Nurmi is Finnish, so I've included them.

Children of Bodom, haven't listened to them in a long time as but we're the epitome of melodic death metal back in the day.

Moonsorrow - Jumalten aika, whole discography is consistently amazing but this was my introduction and probably favourite album. Don't miss the lyrics in english, several of the albums follow a story.

Talking about consistent discographies... Insomnium. Love all of their stuff.

Could probably go on all night with more metal there are a remarkable number of great bands
