Back in the '90s when "No Diggity" by Blackstreet was getting a lot of airplay it was mostly the flat sounding version with very little instrumental that got all the play. There was another version which had the same vocals but some warm sounding synth chords behind the vocal and changes of key which made it sound a whole lot more tuneful. For some inexplicable reason I have a compulsion to find it. Try as I might, however, I can't. I've scoured YouTube, iTunes, Spotify, etc., to no avail. Not sure if this version had a specific name to identify the "mix" that it was. Anyone remember it?

If it’s not that ‘no diggity remix’ brings up some other options.

Not that one, but thanks. I've tried the "remix" line already... not getting anywhere with that yet. Seems like it was just an alternative radio edit at the time.

A little bit off topic but have you heard the Chet Faker cover?

Yes, heard it while searching. There are some interesting remixes and covers.

Going back to my search... iTunes has 34 instances of the standard version but not the version I'm looking for!

The 'All-Star' and 'Will' remixes were the main alternative versions on release (and the Billie Jean one).

It's neither of those. The one I'm thinking of had a more pop kind of sound with smooth, sustained synth string chords and key changes that made the whole thing sound more melodic than any of the other mixes.
