May not mean a lot to many, but the guitarist from Northside has passed away.
If you’re not familiar with them, but lived in the North West in the late 80s / early 90s, you’ll recognise his most prolific work from the theme tune to Granada Soccer Night.

The soundtrack to so many memories.
Mostly of City and United fighting to see who was the worst Division 1 team in the city, with Bolton, Bury and Stockport scrambling to make the top division. Happy days! I feel a terrace chorus of “This is how it feels” by the Inspiral Carpets coming on!
