Music station or talk radio?

just curious here what's your ear's sounds of choice in the car?
For my (short) commute I love listening to Nick Ferrari on LBC (used to love Iain Dale too until they moved his slot) but when james o'brien came on the radio would go off PDQ. Then I got both a car with DAB and a better mobile contract meaning I can stream various music channels and the choice is a little more varied, in the morning though it's (generally) still Mr F and evenings Eddie Mair (still prefer Iain D though). Longer trips though has to be music used to love Absolute 70's until it disappeared, still like Absolute 80's and Classic Rock.

Radio X most days for my commute. Chris Moyles in the morning (I guess 50-50 between music and talk radio 
) then Johnny Vaughn in the evenings.
I used to sometimes listen to radio 4 on the way home but can't be bothered with all the brexit talk these days. When/if it's over I might go back...
Anything with a listener phone in is a big no-no, I'm pretty sure all talk radio station's switchboards come with an inbuilt filter which only allows people with an IQ of less than 50 to get through...

Used to listen to Radio 4 until the bias became unbearable. I now listen to LBC and less frequently Talk Radio. I also listen to various podcasts via my phone and Android Auto.
If I want to listen to music, I tend to use Google Play Music, although I usually listen to Elaine Paige and Johnnie Walker on Radio 2 at the weekends (showing my age!).

Having only recently moved to DAB and flicked through what's on offer I've adopted Radio-X.
Their playlist seems to suit my taste the majority of the time.
Chris Moyles is still doing his thing that I generally always liked - Letting the talk/ramble side of thing flow and not adhere to a quota of music per hour that must've annoyed the BBC somewhat.
Johnny Vaughan is the only other host I regularly catch but in general whoever is hosting, their mix of rambling chat with a decent play list seems to suit me.
A pity DAB out of the city is still a disaster. It's been around for a long time - sort it out! Cannae still be like early generation mobile phones.
