Your first ever single

quite simple - what was the first single you bought (for younglings what was the first track you downloaded )?

Mine was:

Saxon - 747 Strangers in the Night

Never bought a physical single in my life - went straight in buying albums on cassette tape and then on CD. All streamed now. No idea what the first single track I downloaded was.

my mum got me the Might Morphin Power Rangers soundtrack on CD - most of the music we had was on cassette too. that must have been the only CD we used the stereo for

Nick Kershaw - Wouldn't it be good. Can't remember when that was released but must have been early 80's.

I was 10 years old. Really liked the track at the time, not really sure why, it still sounds okay but my musical tastes have moved on a bit.

Saw him recording all the parts by himself in his studio on "Nationwide" and was fascinated by the process. So much so that I ended up doing the same thing as a career for a while many years later.
