Quite shocked TBH, the weird thing is I don't really know why... possibly her age... possibly the fact that the last I'd heard she was in remission.

I'd never say that Roxette were musical giants but they did make catchy pop music, I've actually got one of the tunes running around my head at the moment (as the title might indicate!)

Sad news indeed, striking looks and a striking voice, huge personality in a pint sized body ,
didn't know she had the bd cancer for so long.

Huge Roxette fanboi back in the day.

I was silly happy when Mrs Deej bought us tickets to see them in their comeback tour as I didnt think Marie was ever meant to be well enough to tour again.

Really really do fkin hate the big C.

Really sad news - I've got at least 2 of their CDs.

Sadly I haven't played them lately, but will now as a tribute as I really liked them back in the day.

61 is no age - I'm only a year younger.
