Most flexible singer?

As it says - who is/was the most flexible singer? We're not talking necessarily about BEST but being able to cover different ranges and styles?

Could Freddie be a shoo-in for that?

Axl rose has to be in with a shout? Whitney Houston too?

Others who seem to have a good range might include Lewis Capaldi, Jared Leto, Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October, Ben Burnley of Breaking Benjamin and Perrie Edward's of Little Mix.

I love music, but technically know little about it, so could be wrong. These are just some who came to mind and have impressed me.

Devin Townsend and Mike Patton are both great shouts - Patton is the first name that came to my mind.

I've seen Shinedown several times and Brent was certainly miming to a backing track at one of them, so he goes in the bin regardless of his vocal ability IMO.

That's a good shout. His range and power are amazing. I'd still put Devin Townsend JUST ahead of him for range and power, but it's bloody close.

I was going to say Matt from Muse but he does tend to stick to his style, as impressive as it is.

Not a household name but Dave McPherson (Singer of InMe & does a lot of solo stuff) has an impressive variety for a rock/metal singer.

There's people yet to be analysed at the bottom, I was listening to Arch Enemy this morning, Alissa White-Gluz is on the list of to be analysed, her range is very deep to very high.

That list is genuinely surprising ,some of those with big ranges are Very st singers .
