Oh st like this is like catnip to quite a few.

Nobody knows how much racism white people have had to endure like the poor downtrodden citizens of NP&E hehe

My old piano teacher was a new york session player and commented about degrees of blackness. (back in the day)

My old 70s funk albums have got a whole load of everyone playing on them. They didn't seem to worry about skin colour, rather than you have the funk in spades and utterly dirty licks.

People like Lauryn Hill just offend me. She is a disgusting racist.

Is there racism in music ?

Do black artists struggle to get record deals and sell records ?

Well there will be (even though they are probably "Stars I've never heard of"), but does anyone really care?

Phew, rock n roll,

surely the game is up for racists, they won't know what hit 'em, once self centered, drug addled, pisshead, hedonistic, egoist
musicians get involved it'll be all over bar the shouting.

The palestinian problem will be next to be solved, Metallica will be leading the peace negotiations along with The Nolans.

That's a great line up - Nolans + Metallica. Who would headline? Fight! /Harry Hill.
Or maybe they'd team up, bit like Run DMC & Aerosmith or Nick Cave & Kylie Minogue or Lemmy & Ray Charles*.

*one (or more) of these may be a figment of my imagination.

It's not a binary choice, it is about black origin, which is pretty much everything post Josef Locke anyhow.

Have a listen to the popular beat combo New Coventry Automatics, you might like them

well to be pedantic couldn't you make a case for most popular (ie not classical/opera) music these days having black origins?
