Who does this sound like?

The young lady singing on this track is known to me; she's about 20 now and I've known her since she was about 4. I had not the first idea she sang, and indeed her singing voice is nothing like her spoken voice. I wouldn't have known it was her had I not been told.

Something about her voice on this track reminds me strongly of someone more well-known/famous but I can't place who - any ideas?
