Great shame. For a few years of my misspent youth TATM were one of the soundtracks of my life.

Still love Pressure Drop as much as the first time I heard it.

Same. Only read the interview with him in the Independent a few weeks back when the new album came out.

Just read the obituary on the BBC News site - takes me right back to the same days as the OP - Toots invented the term Reggae which I recall being pronounced "raygay" by Mike Raven on Radio 1 when he played the track 'Reggae and Cry'.
Pressure Drop still sounds fresh today - what a life he had and what a long career.
