Epiphone Les Paul Custom vs. Joe Bonamassa Black Beauty

The custom is available for £510 (plus £50 for a case i.e. £550) and the JB Black Beauty for £750 (includes a case).

Is the Black Beauty really worth the additional £200?

I notice on eBay second hand Customs are £370-400 and older Black Beauty are going for the same value.

What do you guys think? Any recommendations.

Can you play them and decide that way?

I can’t comment on the BB but I have the Les Paul Custom. I love it but it’s neck feels much wider to me than say my Strat. I personally find the Strat much easier to play with the thinner neck but everyone is different of course.

Go play and see what you prefer basically.
