Weekend World with Brian Walden? I thought they used a version by ‘Quartz’ for the prog, according to the more switched on members of my year at skool.

I happened across a Mountain album in a holiday home and have been a fan since, particularly Mississippi Queen and ‘sleigh ride.

Awesome riffs.

Sad news.

For me, never got the recognition he deserved. Always had great guitar tone, tasteful phrasing, and a killer vibrato.

just read this - RIP LW - will never forget the first time I heard Theme from an Imaginary Western from a Night of the Guitars album in the 1980's played loud in a friend's father's Volvo 740.
