Music Room Flooring

I’ll have an almost dedicated music room in my refurb that will also be an occasional guest bedroom.

I was going to carpet it but am wondering if a solid floor (it will have to be ceramic tiles) would be best?

Hard flooring and a selection of rugs would be my choice.
